Applied Behavioral Analysis Technician (ABAT)

The Applied Behavioral Analysis Technician Training (ABAT) training program (conducted in partnership with Optimus Education) is designed as a next-level, entry level free training program for those pursuing a Behavior Technician career path. Students will learn the foundations of professionalism, advocacy, positive behavior supports, autism and related disabilities.

Course Requirement:

  • Be able to speak one or more Asian-languages.
  • Be able to communicate in English for education and employment purposes.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have work authorization in the U.S.
  • Have a valid California ID (preferable a drivers' license).
  • Have a High School Diploma, International High School Diploma or equivalent.

Program Length: 4 weeks

Program Format: 

  • 4 weeks of online, self-paced learning
  • 15 hours of paid, on-the-job training
