Fast-Track Respite Training (FTRT)

The Fast-Track Respite Training (FTRT) program is 10-hour online self-study course for Asian language speakers to learn how to work and support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy, etc.).

Program Cost: $0

Course Requirement:

  • Be able to speak one or more Asian-languages.
  • Be able to communicate in English for education and employment purposes.
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have work authorization in the U.S.
  • Have a valid California ID (preferable a drivers' license).
  • Have a High School Diploma, International High School Diploma or equivalent.

Program Length: 10 hours

Program Format: 10 hours of online, self-paced learning
