The Adaptive Learning Center is a nonprofit organization in Concord, CA that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently, work, socialize, learn, and create community.
Program Info
ALC's community living program offers a person-centered inclusive "one stop" shop for services that individuals would need to live independently including independent living/case management support, job development and job coaching, and social, recreational, and educational programming. Services are tailored to individual support needs. Members at ALC live independently in the greater Concord community and receive support in their homes as well as programming and support at our center building!
Individuals must be at least 18 and able to spend up to 12 hours without support or supervision in their own home. Individuals must display traffic safety and community awareness when navigating the community.
